The Blount County Wedding Professionals Association is a group of wedding professionals who serve Blount County TN and surrounding areas. Membership Dues are applied towards maintaining a web site to represent the members of the association, in addition to sponsoring events such as open houses and bridal shows in Blount County. The BCWPA web site is intended to be a one-stop resource for brides to book wedding services from wedding professionals within the group. The BCWPA does not limit categories. All businesses represented in the BCWPA must have a current business license and liability insurance. Caterers and Bakeries must also provide a copy of their current health inspection. Elections for annual membership renewal occur once per year, every September.
To offer brides an elite resource for planning their weddings, including a select group of wedding professionals, and foster positive networking with vendors who serve Blount County, Tennessee.

BCWPA meetings are typically held during the third Tuesday on a bi monthly basis. The location varies each meeting. Details are updated monthly under Upcoming Events. A calendar of scheduled meetings and events is sent to all members by the secretary of the BCWPA.
Wedding professionals may apply for a membership by submitting an on line BCWPA membership application through the Membership Page . Applications will be kept on file by the BCWPA Membership or Marketing Director. Applicants will be notified of their status by a representative of the BCWPA Membership Committee.
